[Two Minute Read]
Truly there’s no right or wrong answer.
A student may respond differently to a business man. A researcher would like to do different things compared to a housewife. A politician in that case may have a long list of To-Do List compared to a retiree. The list continues.
It’s a personal call, I trust.
What then is a personal call?
How would one weigh what’s more important compared to other tasks? As it may seem that the same person may have the same to-do-list from previous days or weeks.
Clearing papers on one’s desk may look urgent but if he is sick, seeing the doctor has to be a top urgent for him. Else he can’t complete the paper works on time. It may even make things worse.
The above are mere light examples.
Being clear on what needs to start, what needs to be completed and what else we can do. I would like to term it as One’s Daily / Weekly OFI. Opportunity for Improvement. It above the To-Do-list.
Nonetheless, it is about being just to self. Being fair to what one needs at the time.
The best, at least to me personally is to start the week with reading and writing.
