There was a time where thinking is someone else’s job. The thinking department or known as the R&D team. Organizations establish dedicated thinkers to think for the firms. Senior thinkers, associate thinkers and junior thinkers. In our country, it is also known as Think Tank or known as Institute.

Fast forward, think tanks started to recruit thinkers. They write reports and developed facts for the leaders. Normally, bright students and scholars would be on board.

It’s nearing its end.

At present, someone or ‘somewhat’ is now doing the thinking. And truly, this is dangerously alarming. As one starts to slow down the use of his thinking faculty in replace for the technology, the worry starts to come in.

That ‘somewhat’ has no living soul. That somewhat may include GenAI for short.

How then should one allocate his time to think?

There’s no point in life that one doesn’t think. We aren’t that ‘somewhat’.

Allocating dedicated time to think particularly for leaders is personal. We make time for it. Else, the time shall never arrive.
